It is difficult to choose the top rock songs of 2010. Each year, new and seasoned musicians produce new songs that renew the love the world seems to have for the rock and roll genre. These are the best candidates for a place among the top 10 rock songs of 2010.

Bullet for My Valentine is a Welsh band that emerged in 1998. The group consists of Matthew Tuck, Michael Paget, Jason James and Michael Thomas. Their music comes from many influences, including Slayer, Iron Maiden and Metallica.

Porn Star Dancing by My Darkest Days

My Darkest Days hails from Toronto, Canada and includes Matt Walst, Sal Coz Costa, Brendan McMillan, Doug Oliver and Reid Henry. The group was originally discovered by Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger who signed them under his production company 604 Records. Pop Star Dancing was My Darkest Day’s first single, which released on June 21st, 2010.

10 Years was formed in 1999 in Knoxville, Tennessee. The band falls under the alternative metal genre and includes Jesse Hasek, Ryan Johnson, Lewis Cosby and Brian Vodinh. Shoot It Out was debuted along with Now is the Time and Dead in the Water at live performances in 2010.

Escape the Fate comes from Las Vegas, Nevada. The band was created in 2004 and includes Craig Mabbitt, Bryan Money, Max Green and Robert Ortiz. Issues is the second single released to from the band’s self-titled album as well as the first released to radio stations.
